Getting the stone to you
Everything below applies once an enquiry has become an agreed order. Nothing ships until details and payment are settled directly.
Draft. This page is a working draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must not be treated as final or relied upon until that review is complete.
Despatch
Stones are sent from Jaipur, India by an insured international courier service. You receive a tracking number when the parcel leaves. Transit is typically a few business days to Europe, the United States and Australia; customs clearance at the destination can add time.
Customs, duty and taxes
Each parcel travels with a correct commercial invoice showing the declared value. Any import duty, VAT or GST levied by the destination country is the buyer’s responsibility and is not included in the stone price. We provide the paperwork your courier or customs broker needs.
Returns
Because every stone is photographed, described and discussed before you commit, returns should be rare. If a stone materially differs from what was represented, contact us within [X] days of delivery. On agreement:
- Return the stone by insured, tracked courier in its original packaging.
- Once it arrives and is verified as the stone that was sent, we refund the stone price.
- Return shipping and any duties incurred on the return are covered as set out in the order confirmation.
Custom-cut or specially sourced stones, and stones altered after delivery, are not returnable.
Payment
There is no checkout on this site. After the enquiry, payment terms and bank details are shared with you directly. The stone is despatched once payment has cleared.
Bracketed values and specifics are placeholders pending review and legal sign-off.
